Mayor's Christmas Appeal

Last year the Mayor's Christmas Appeal saw needy families in our region supported with Christmas vouchers, food hampers and toys worth over $17,000. With the financial Crisis this year, and loss of many jobs, we can expect a big increase in those needing help this Christmas.

Pageant of Lights

The Q150 Pageant of Lights is on again this year in the Bundaberg CBD on 10 December from 6pm to 9pm. 

This year's Pageant will be extra special as we celebrate Queensland's 150th birthday with the theme "Reflect on our past and imagine our future'.

There will be lots to keep you entertained with the turning on of the lights at approx 7.05pm followed by the Pageant Parade.  The Hunky Dory's will entertain the kids in Buss Park with a Christmas Show at 7.45pm.  With lots of Christmas markets to browse, plenty of food available, a Q150 Light Show extravaganza and great entertainment all night, there's something for everyone.

Innes Park Recreation Reserve Management Plan

After extensive community consultation the DRAFT Innes Park Recreation Reserve Management Plan was developed. Taking the various views obtained during the consultation, the aim of the DRAFT plan is to provide a long term vision for the park, identifying what it could look like and how it could function into the future, providing enjoyment for all residents of the region who visit the Park.
