Stan Lohse Function Room

The Stan Lohse Function Room plays tribute to Stan Lohse for his outstanding contribution to the restoration of Fairymead House from 1987 to 1993. Mr Lohse was a prominent local builder, benefactor and former Bundaberg City councillor.

Tastefully appointed, the room conveys an understated elegance indicative of the era and architectural style of Fairymead House.

It is especially suitable for meetings, small exhibitions and conferences and intimate social occasions. The room is complemented by covered verandas that overlook lush gardens and lawns.

Can alcohol be consumed within the gardens of Fairymead House?
Staff will help you obtain a wet area permit. With the permit, alcohol can only be consumed within the back garden of Fairymead House. Please refer to ‘wet area’ signage. Terms and conditions apply.

Can alcohol be consumed within the Stan Lohse Function Room and verandas of Fairymead House?
Yes, alcohol may be consumed within the Stan Lohse Function Room and Verandas of Fairymead House without a permit, however, a liquor licence must be obtained if the alcohol is to be sold to guests.
