Other rate payment options

BPAY

Rates payments, parking infringements, sundry debtors and animal registration renewals can be paid by contacting your financial institution online or via phone. Please quote the Biller Code and reference number shown on the front of your rate notice.

Post Billpay

Pay in-store at Australia Post, online at auspost.com.au/postbillpay or by phone 13 18 16.

Ratepayers can also download the Scan and Pay app. Using your smart phone, scan the barcode on the front of the Rate Notice and follow the prompts to make a payment.     

Mail payment

Include your rate notice assessment number or a copy of your account and return it with your payment details, and return it with your payment to Bundaberg Regional Council, PO Box 3130, Bundaberg QLD 4670. All cheques are to be in Australian dollars and should be made payable to Bundaberg Regional Council. Acceptance of a cheque and the issue of a receipt therefore is conditional on collection of the proceeds and until collection, no credit is given or implied.

Customer Service Centres

You can pay over the phone on 1300 883 699 or you can pay at any of Council's Administration Offices located at:

  • 190 Bourbong Street Bundaberg;
  • 45 Churchill Street Childers; and
  • 4 Dear Street Gin Gin

between 8.15am and 4.45pm Monday to Friday. Payment methods are cash, EFTPOS, cheque, money order, debit and credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Centrepay – rates only

Centrepay is a voluntary bill-paying service which is free for Centrelink customers. Use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment.

You can start or change a deduction at any time. The easiest way to do it is through your Centrelink account online in myGov.

Please quote the Centrepay Reference number for Bundaberg Regional Council: 555 072 141A and use your Assessment Number as Council's Reference Number when requesting an application form.
