Stormwater Management Guidelines
Stormwater Management Guidelines have been prepared to assist developers and practitioners by providing further guidance to support Council’s Planning Scheme and Planning Scheme Policy for Development Works (Section SC6.3.5). The current requirements as set out in the Planning Scheme Policy for Development Works continue to have effect and in the event of any inconsistency override these guidelines. Application of these guidelines will promote a consistent approach to stormwater management studies, mapping and reporting throughout the Bundaberg region. For ease of use, the guidelines are separated into Part 1 – Stormwater Quantity Assessment and Part 2 – Stormwater Water Quality Assessment and are available for download below.

Please note models that inform Council’s current flood hazard areas (declared by Council resolution) can be made available via a fee to support sustainable development and better manage flood risk in the region. Models can be requested by completing the form below.
