Waste disposal vouchers

Residential properties within the Bundaberg Regional Council area are entitled to two waste disposal vouchers which are included as part of your rates notice issued in July.

• each voucher is valid for the disposal of self-hauled domestic waste up to 500kg
• vouchers have a QR code which is registered against the residential property address
• one voucher is equal to a sedan, station wagon, van, utility or trailer load
• what can and can't be disposed of is outlined on the waste disposal voucher
• vouchers are provided with your rates notice (either by post or email)
• landlords are encouraged to pass vouchers on to their tenants
• commerical properties and businesses are not eligilable for waste disposal vouchers
• vouchers are not to be used as tender or payment for commercial business

Residental properties which have a lawfully approved liveable dwelling are issued waste disposal vouchers.

• Vouchers are not allocated to vacant land and outbuildings e.g. sheds.
• If you have recently purchased a property or built a house (with final stage inspection) please contact Council regarding waste vouchers.
• If a voucher is lost, misplaced or not received please contact Council.
• Government housing, retirement and lifestyle village residents receive vouchers via a separate mailout to the property address
