Beaches

There are six patrolled beaches in the Bundaberg Region including:

  • Mon Repos
  • Kellys Beach
  • Oaks Beach
  • Elliott Heads
  • Nielson Park
  • Moore Park Beach

Check the Beach Safe website for details of scheduled patrols with Queensland Surf Life Saving.

When enjoying the many beautiful beaches in our region, please remember to swim between the red and yellow flags and be sun safe.

Swimming Pools

Norville Park Swimming Pool

Address: 148 Enterprise Street, Bundaberg
Features: Olympic size pool with eight lanes, toddler splash area, water play facility including 2.9m water slide and tipping bucket, starting blocks, 25m pool with shade sails, modular tiered grandstand, all ability access, picnic areas, shaded water play areas, barbeques, kiosk, showers and changerooms.

Isis War Memorial Pool

Address: 77 Churchill Street, Childers
Features: Solar heating, undercover 33m pool, six lanes, all ability access, diving blocks, spectator seating, toddler pool, sheltered picnic areas, kiosk, showers and changerooms.

Gin Gin Swimming Pool

Address: 45 Somerset Street, Gin Gin
Features: 25m pool with six lanes, starting blocks, modular tiered grandstand, all ability access, toddler pool with water play features and sunshade, volleyball court, sheltered picnic and barbecue areas, kiosk and showers.

New Bundaberg Regional Aquatic Centre

The Bundaberg Regional Aquatic Facility will deliver a year-round, modern facility for fitness, education, therapy and recreational activities.

Boat Ramps

The Bundaberg Region with its unique coastline and great climate is well suited to a range of boating activities.

Bundaberg Regional Council maintains a number of boat ramps and pontoons across the region to help you enjoy everything from fishing, kayaking and water sports to a scenic day out with the family.
