Bundaberg is set to have its second 24 hour gymnasium after Bundaberg Regional Council approved an application at its Planning and Development Committee meeting.
Council approved a Development Permit for a Material Change of Use to establish a 24 hour, seven day a week gymnasium within the Bundaberg Plaza in Maryborough Street.
Council’s Planning and Development Chairman Cr. Ross Sommerfeld said the proposed gymnasium will occupy and amalgamate five tenancies of the Plaza complex.
“The Snap Fitness gymnasium will provide access to members at all times of the day and night which will be particularly convenient for health conscious shift workers” Cr. Sommerfeld said.
