Council's professional new look

Bundaberg Regional Council staff are stepping out proudly in their new uniforms.

Council adopted a staff uniform policy at its meeting held on 7 April 2009.  Since that time a number of staff have ordered and received the uniform. Portfolio Spokesman Cr David Batt said staff have embraced the new uniforms. "It's pleasing to see that many staff have already ordered the new uniforms, with some "early birds" already receiving them and proudly wearing them to work". Cr Batt said.

The original policy has now been amended to reflect the need to assist long term casual employees to move into the corporate uniform. "This allows for all employees to participate in the corporate uniform, strengthening unity in the workforce and creating a strong corporate image for Council" Cr Batt said.

Local companies Industroquip and Inn Style Mensland supplied the uniforms for Council staff.
