    • ROLAND THRING & THE YEAR ALL HIS CHRISTMASES CAME AT ONCE. 13 - 16 January 2010. Venue- The Playhouse Theatre, Steffensen Street. Bundaberg. Roland Thring is a shrinking violet. Teased daily at school, he longs to be a radio star, taking inspiration from his father's amateur radio obsession. Climbing the radio tower one night, Roland is hit by a bolt of lightning and soon learns that he has the power to fill empty vessesl with music. Roland soon learns that his life isn't as bad as he has always made it out to be - once he figures out that he possesses the power to lift people's spirits. Written by local playwright Rod Ainsworth, this show is ideal for families to introduce children to a live theatrical experience. The performance is told through 2 actors & puppetry.
