- Crime and Misconduct Commission
The Commission was formed on 1 January 2002 with ther merger of the Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) and the Queensland Crime Commission. "Under the terms of the Crime and Misconduct Act 2001, the CMC has the duty to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime, to improve the integrity of the public sector and to reduce the incidence of misconduct in the public sector."
