Safer internet Day is being held 08 February 2011 with the theme “It’s more than a game, it’s your life”.
Bundaberg Regional Council have been working in partnership with Bundaberg District Crime Prevention unit in an attempt to make parents more aware of their child’s virtual world, and to reflect on the ways their children present themselves on the web in spaces ranging from social networks to on-line role playing games like World of Warcraft.
Please find information below on activities occurring during the coming week and also a list of suggested websites that can offer further assistance to all the family about enjoying the internet safely.
