Joggers for Loggers: part of the 2009 ‘Cut the Glow to Help Turtles Go’ community awareness campaign.
Head on down to the Turtle Playground on the Bargara Esplanade and join everyone for a fun run/ walk along the new Turtle Trail.
Joggers will run to Mon Repos, turn back and finish at the Turtle Playground at Bargara where a free BBQ (from 10am) will be available for participants.
There will be prizes for the winners of the fun run (junior and senior), the best dressed turtle participants (adults and hatchlings!) and the sand turtle competition. Information displays and kids activities will be set up from 10am.
Register by the 16th October 2009, or on the day by 7:45am, and arrive at 8am for a 8:30am.
