Bundaberg Waterworks and East Water Tower

An engineering heritage marker highlighting the significance of the Bundaberg waterworks including the East water tower will be unveiled by the Governor of Queensland, Her Excellency Ms Penelope Wensley AC. Engineers Australia has recognised the Bundaberg Waterworks for its significant engineering heritage which will be outlined at an award ceremony.

Considered a masterpiece in bricklaying the tower is believed to be only circular brick tower in Queensland.
