The Lake Monduran Management Advisory Committee Newsletter

Late in 2010, the Lake Monduran Advisory Management Committee was formed by Bundaberg Regional Council and Fisheries Queensland (a service of Dept. Employment, Economic Development and Innovation) in response to the strategic and sustainable development of the Lake Monduran Recreational Area and the nationally recognized barramundi fishery in Lake Monduran.

The Committee is made up of all the sectors that are involved with Lake Monduran including the land owners around the Lakes foreshore areas. Other sectors on the Committee are from SunWater, fisheries management and enforcement, fish stocking group, charter operators, tourist park leasee, chamber of commerce, tourism and Bundaberg Regional Council.

We will endeavour to keep the communtiy and stakeholders in Lake Monduran up to date with activities, initiatives and information on the make through our newsletters.
