Recently GHD Bundaberg with the support of Bundaberg Regional Council, submitted an application to fund a Sustainable Business Cluster - a major outcome of the Bundaberg Region Economic Development Strategy 2009 -14. This application has been successful and in early 2010 a Bundaberg Regional Climate Smart Business Cluster will be established.
The Climate Smart Business Cluster program is funded by the Queensland Department of Environment and Resource Management, and will allow participants to gain access to tools and information that will ensure their operations are prepared for changes in Government Policy whilst improving their bottom line.
GHD and Council will be seeking expressions of interest from businesses in the Bundaberg Region who would like to be involved in the Cluster.
