Mayoral School Chaplaincy Support Breakfast

Council is proud to be hosting a breakfast to raise awareness of the work done by our Local School Chaplains.

This year our special guest speaker is Heather Ford, LGAQ ambassador and former Channel Nine News presenter.

Through positive and supportive relationships, SU QLD aims to help young people with everyday life issues, as well as the more critical ones like substance abuse, relationship issues, family breakdown, depression and low self esteem.

Natural disaster and rates relief

Bundaberg district ratepayers should have received their half yearly rate notices which were posted Monday 25 February 2013. Whilst Council is required by law to issue its half-yearly Rate Notices, Council is very aware that many people have suffered severe financial loss as a result of the recent natural disasters and may not be in a position to pay their rates.
